Description
The Vitra Meda is an office executive chair designed by Alberto Meda for Vitra in 1996. This comfortable and flexible chair follows the movements of the user’s body and deliberately abstains from a complicated mechanism under the seat. Plastic ring armrest with leather supports along with fine quality leather seat and back complete the picture.
As with all of Alberto Meda’s designs, the Meda Conference Chair embodies his engineering skills and his typical design style, i.e. light yet technically functional. This swivel conference chair allows each user to adjust the backrest tension to match their individual requirements; even though it does not rely on any complicated mechanisms.
Alberto Meda lives and works in Milan. He teaches at IUAV University of Venice and lectures at leading design colleges and institutions. He has worked together with Vitra since 1994.
Very good used condition, slight wear on armrests consistent with age. Year of production 2002.
