Kristalia white BCN stool with a disc base and adjustable swivel seat is made from PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), a thermoplastic material generally used as insulation for electronic components, as it is highly resistant to wear and tear, solvents and heat. A tubular steel frame in a colour to match the seat completes the design.

The stool is perfect for modern lobbies, restaurants, exhibition stands, bars and kitchens.

Description

The modernist design of the stool by the designers, Harry & Camila, is very distinctive. The seat, with its visible curves and ergonomic feel is formed by bending back on itself in a ess-shape.

Harry van Ierssel was born in 1966 in Breda, The Netherlands; he studied at both the Design Academy in Eindhoven and the Domus Academy in Milan. A Chilean national, his wife Camila was born in 1971 and also obtained her degree from the Domus Academy. They founded their own design studio “harry & camila” in 1998. The experimental use of materials and shapes characterises their work, which has featured regularly in exhibitions in Europe, the U.S.A. and Japan since 1999.
