This eye-catching American diner set made in 2010 in Canada offers great durability with a fab look! Acme Chrome Furniture was established in March 1946 in Winnipeg Canada and their Classic Chrome Retro Dinette series was re-launched in 1995.
Today, the original designs are meticulously replicated from Acme’s 1949 –1959 product line, but manufactured with current technology and materials. The tubular steel legs are made from cold-rolled steel for best nickel/chrome bright plating results and the aluminium profiles used for the table’s trim have been bright-dip anodised and do not oxidise or leave residue on hands or clothing.
High-pressure, high gloss laminates of the ’50s (Formica, etc.), which were susceptible to scratching have been upgraded to new suede finishes or protective surfaces which are much more durable and scratch resistant.
Retro-look lime green faux leather fully upholstered chairs come with contrasting white trim and a chromed steel frame. The back pads of the chairs are studded and finished with a retro top handle. The chair frames are all welded to provide maximum stability and durability.
